From now until the day of the Fest 8 I will be posting one band each day that I MUST see. I’ll post a cool video of them, a picture, a reason or two as to why I HAVE to see them and just mention an interesting story about the band. So the first Entry in this series is Defiance,Ohio

I first saw Defiance, Ohio back in January of last year at an awesome show in a record store. That was the first and only time I ever saw the band. To be honest, it was one of the best shows I have ever been to and it bums me out that the band hasn’t come to southern California since then.

I remember first getting into Defiance,Ohio back in 2006 right when the album, The Great Depression came out. Needless to say it was one of the best records to come out that year and is still one I spin in heavy rotation to this day.

Hopefully you guys don’t’ get annoyed with this, and if you like it you should do your own series! That is if you’re going to fest of course.
